Sørina Higgins is releasing a collection of short stories currently entitled Shall These Bones Breathe. The collection includes tales ranging from science fiction to fantasy to myth, and engages with topics such as bioengineering, art imitating life, and faith in the face of genetic determinism.
Sørina Higgins earned her Ph.D. in 2021 at Baylor University. Her dissertation, entitled From Thaumaturgy to Dramaturgy: Staging Occult Modernism, examined the role of ceremonial magic in modernist theatre, especially in the works of W. B. Yeats, Charles Williams, and Aleister Crowley.
